Circle of Seekers presents the Mystery School Intensive Weekend
November 16-18, 2008
NEW DETAILS!
Friday night
(7 PM to midnight) will be free for all and will be a
general introduction into what we will be doing over the next two days as
well as what you can expect to learn about yourself. Practices will end at
10pm and a metaphysical performance by Collective Neurosis will take place
at 11pm followed by a freeform chi dance.
Second, due to many people not being able to attend the whole weekend,
we are
offering either Saturday or Sunday’s
session for $75. These
students will not receive the full transmission of this experience as
intended but will never the less benefit greatly from basking in the
frequencies of a maximum resonance environment.
Third, this entire workshop will be filmed and willing students will be
interviewed at break points to track the overall progression of the
group. The footage will be edited as an interactive workshop experience
students can do with friends and family. All full attendees will receive
a copy of this video as a part of their tuition. Day students will be
able to purchase them for $15.
Fourth,
anyone who wants to go home to sleep may do so, but you
will miss the ghost stories and panty raids.

The
Mystery
School is one of the oldest academic traditions in
recorded history. They were among the most respected institutions from
ancient
Egypt to the Greek isles. Rather than focusing on "knowledge"
gathered from without, these traditions focused on cultivating true wisdom
from within. Like all mystic perspectives, they believed that true wisdom
can only come from "knowledge of the self".
At it's heart, the awakening process is simply the systematic removal of
the self-created karmic filters which block us from perceiving our
"original face". Through systematic practice of ancient and contemporary
traditions, students will be lead into the deepest depths of the "unborn
self".
WHEN:
Beginning Friday, November 16 at 7pm
Ending on Sunday, November 18 at 5pm.
WHERE:
Tsada Yoga
MEALS:
Your registration fee includes several simple, vegetarian meals. There
will be a few meat options as well. On Saturday, three meals will be
provided. Breakfast and lunch will be served on Sunday. If you have
other dietary needs, you can bring a picnic basket or small cooler. There
are also nearby markets in and around Southside if you prefer.
SLEEPOVER:
This will be an old fashioned lock-in with people sleeping in sleeping
bags around the studio. Come prepared with what you need to be cozy such
as: bedding/sleeping bag, inflatable mattress, 2 changes of clothes, yoga
mat or pillow, towel, book & money for food if you don't like vegetarian
cuisine.
Contact Tsada Yoga for details on the availability of reserving SSOL guest
lofts (in advance for $50 per night for a limited time) for those
participants who are unable to 'sleep in' at the studio but who still want
to stay nearby for the weekend intensive.
PRACTICE DETAILS:
This inaugural weekend will be an introduction into a series of workshops
comprising the actual mystery school itself. Practices will include:
Meditation - Guided and unguided.
Learn to be comfortable inside the mind. Learn to use it as a tool rather
than being dragged along behind it. Learn to perceive from a place beyond
the mind.
Chanting - Mantras and freestyle.
Learn kundalini mantras which bathe the soul in the highest vibrations
known to man. Learn to channel the spirit through spontaneous sounds which
come from a realm we can only imagine.
Shamanic Journeying - Discover the
answers hidden within. Meet your spirit guides. Learn the power and nature
of intuition.
Kundalini yoga - Learn to rewire
your nervous system with one of the oldest paths of yoga. Experience your
energy body in a tangible way. Learn to see through the illusions of egoic
patterns.
Trance Dance - Experience authentic
movement without the pressures of social or egoic expectations. Learn to
channel spirit through movement of the body. Experience the boundless
immensity of consciousness.
Qi Gong - Learn to feel and move
chi, life force energy, through and around the body. Learn to direct chi
with the body or the mind.
Tai Chi push hands - Learn to feel
the energy moving inside yourself as well as your partner by increasing
your "listening gin". Learn to move spontaneously and effortlessly with
each moment.
Quantum Touch - Learn to raise the
frequency of your energy body to a very high level and then how to connect
it with another. Learn the innate healing abilities every person
possesses.
Crystal Work - Learn the incredible
energetic properties of quartz crystal and how to use them for cleansing,
healing, meditation, and journeying. Discover the power of crystal singing
bowls and how they can entrain your entire body to an incredibly high
resonant frequency.

Who is Benji Smith (SaTek)?
SaTek grew up traveling and performing with the Ringling Bros. Circus.
Growing up around gypsies he learned the importance of “perception” at a
very early age. This awareness led him to the study of Shamanic,
Buddhist, and Hindu traditions which all focus on perception as our only
struggle. “How can something that everyone has in common, be our
only problem?” he thought. After discovering Qi Gong and Quantum Touch
within months of each other his path quickly transformed into the study of
subtle energies. Using these two energy modalities together gave
birth to Dancing with Chi, the very first Circle of Seekers series.
Who is Adriane Wolf? Adriane Wolf has been teaching
Kundalini Yoga classes, workshops and retreats for 10 years. She has
developed her approach to yoga and teaching through her knowledge of
massage therapy, energetic healing modalities and her own spiritual path.
After exploring many faiths and traditions her love for the oneness of the
Divine led her to The New Seminary in New York City. She was
ordained as an Interfaith Minister in 2007. She now offers spiritual
counseling, ritual and ceremony for a modern world.
